It shows how things went on December 31, 2007 for First Night Salem 2008.

It will be months before information on December 31, 2008 for First Night Salem 2009 will be posted.

However, this will give you a general idea of how things are planned for First Night Salem generally.

We had great entertainment, food, dropping and popping balls, people walking along the streets and greeting each other on a night with great weather, and much more during this celebration. If you have thoughts about how to improve First Night Salem in years to come, please let us know. See you for First Night Salem 2009!

A Van from CARTS will be making an East State, North Lincoln, East Third, Hawley Loop
to help those who need help getting from one venue to another.
This year’s entertainment venues should be close enough to allow most people

Anyone volunteering 2½ hours or more before or during the events is entitled to a free First Night Badge ($10 Value) good for admission to all venues (all food is at additional cost).

 

First Night Salem 2007 still needs many volunteers.

 

Please e-mail volunteers@firstnightsalem.com or call New Number Soon to volunteer, and a volunteer coordinator will get back to you.

 

There will be First Night Volunteer Orientation Meetings prior to the event. Please plan to attend one of them if you are signing up as a volunteer. They may be held at the First Night Office, 230 East State Street, Salem, OH.
